In 1969 Diane was helping her husband’s sick aunt sell her antiques. She brought the items to the Fairport Rotary Antique Show – and has been hooked on antiques ever since! Antiques has been in the bloodline – her grandmother was an antiquer before the Depression Era. Diane previously owned The Owl In the Attic in Fairport 1970-1973.

Paul has been in the antique business since 1960. He successfully ran his family business of three shops in the Poconos for 35 years. As his “side” business Paul worked for 41 years at Xerox (talk about loyalty!) and finished his career as a Corporate Manager in Research. While at Xerox Paul worked on the design team that produced the 914 copier in 1959 – the world’s first automatic plain paper copier.
Retired but currently works at the Tool Thrift Shop in Fairport and mows the lawn at Sonnenberg Gardens.
